MIS320 Management Information Systems
This course is an overview of management information systems and their use to support
business operations. Students are exposed to current information systems technology used in the business
decision making process. Emphasis is placed on management control of information systems. Topics include
information systems concepts and planning; end-user computing; hardware, software, including decision
support systems, "Groupware," and database systems; networks; international, social, political,
legal, behavioral, and ethical issues of MIS. Prerequisite: BCS 206
